Dancer:

I think this is a famous drawing by some dead guy but the pose and style caught my attention.

It's a girl leaning on a wall, exhausted after a dance session, and it really captures the moment, even though it's very bare-bone.

Watch the Owl:

I thought this was a beautiful owl that I stumbled on while organizing my JPEGs, so I whip up some pastel paper, sketch in the outlines and do the eyes.

Then I leave it there, on the easel for weeks. Looking at me every time I enter the room. Staring at me when I look around.

I was just scared of spoiling it. The eyes looked perfect and I didn't think I could do the rest. Then one day I just picked it up, telling my self that if it's ruined, it's ruined. And I finished it in about ten minutes.

I'll Keep an Eye:

My favorite bookmark has this cute picture of a frog and written under it was "I'll keep an eye on your place!"

The drawing didn't work out as I imagined it, but it turned out ok, I guess.

The Seer:

My first (and only) full acrylic painting. I discovered that drawing is nothing compared to painting.

Mixing colors was hell. I gathered that not only do you have to know your medium, but also the type of pigment your using, coz they don't all react the same way. I repainted the background twice and I overlaid the face like a dozen times just to get it looking like this, and it still doesn't look very good.

Yah yah I know. First try ... patience ... bla bla ... I wish I could freeze time.

Who is Art?

I'm not really an artist. I just toy around with the prospect every now and then.

I hope to make my own comics soon. It's worth a try anyway.
